Salford got off to a cracking start with an early goal coming from some good football starting in the midfield Ann Beagan slipped a ball through to Rhea Knowles who struck the ball cleanly into the top corner of the Lammack net. The second goal came from a move down the left wing when Jodie Warburton crossed for Kerry Tierney to chip the ball home. Salford weren't having it all their own way and Lammack scored when a goal kick launched up field fell well for the Lammack striker who smashed the ball past Sam Chesters the Salford keeper.
Salford kept up the pressure and their third goal came from a corner, Katie Winder swung the ball in for Kerry Tierney to respond with a great header. With steely determination Lammack broke through again and scored their second, Salford continued pressing and scored two more goals from Rhea Knowles and Kerry Tierney before the half time whistle, Half-Time 2-5.
In the second half Salford made an early strike the ball was hit up field by Chantelle Hughes, Kerry Tierney went through the Lammack defence and chipped the keeper. Salford's seventh goal came from some fine football starting from the back, the ball was knocked up field to Siobhan Prescott who played a one two with Ann Beagan striking the ball only for it to be parred away by the Lammack keeper, Siobhan Prescott continued with her run and connected with the ball putting it into the back of the net.
Lammack still continued to battle away and managed to break through the midfield only to be stopped by Claire Beard who had read the game well and was solid in defence. Claire passed the ball out to Leann Whyte who threaded it through to Jodie Warburton, she moved past the Lammack midfield into the eighteen-yard box only to have her thunderous shot saved by the keeper. More chances were made and the Lammack keeper was kept busy with shots coming from both Jodie Warburton and Ann Beagan. Maxine Kilduff made space for Kerry Tierney to run at the defence and slot home her fifth goal of the match. Salford's ninth goal came when Chantelle Hughes carried the ball out of defence playing a one two with Siobhan Prescott she powered her way through the Lammack defence and hit the ball sweetly into the back of the net.
